How Build My PC: Service works:

Our Build My PC: Service is designed to guide you step by step in choosing your PC components and is highly recommended for those who want to ensure their parts are compatible and optimal. In our base package, you will work alongside your personal technician to decide on how much you want to spend on your PC and what components you want. Your personal technician will guide and advise you on part selection to create a list of parts suited for your budget, needs, and wants. Once your parts are finalized, your parts will be ordered and you will receive an invoice for the cost of the parts, along with any additional fees (See additional fees section below).

When all your parts arrive and parts invoice is paid, your technician will test boot your system on our test bench to ensure all components are working and install and set up Windows (if you opt to not have an Operating System included in your parts list, an unactivated copy of Windows 10 will be installed). After your technician ensures that there are no issues with your parts, your system will be completely built and packed. When your system is packed and ready, you will receive a shipping invoice containing the shipping cost for the system, along with any additional fees (See additional fees section below). All invoices must be paid before your system is shipped out.

Additional Fees: Currently, you can pay your invoices through Chase/Bank of America Zelle or Paypal. If you choose to pay your invoices through Paypal, there will be a 3.5% additional fee which you will see reflected on your invoice. There is no additional fee if you pay through Chase/Bank of America Zelle, but please be aware that Chase Zelle/Bank of America have daily limits. Please check with your bank first before using Zelle to make sure transactions go smoothly.

Disclaimer: Due to the nature of this service, no parts warranty can be offered for custom PCs. However, your system comes with a 1-year service warranty. The service warranty means your system eligible for repairs for up to a year with no labor costs (customer is responsible for shipping the system to our studio (and back). If parts need to be replaced, the customer is responsible for the cost of replacement parts, which will be reflected on the repair invoice).

Add-on Service Options (You can add these options to your order by clicking the links below):

  • Ready to Go: Your technician will update Windows, drivers, GPU drivers, and motherboard BIOS to the latest versions before your PC is shipped out. RGB controlling software (if applicable), streaming software like OBS and Elgato capture card utility will also be downloaded and set up to be ready to use (if applicable). This package is recommended for those who do not want to worry about extensively setting up their PC out of the box.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Pre-order/Group Buy Cancellation/Refund Policy:

- Pre-orders/Group Buys can be canceled and refunded within the pre-order/group buy period. Please email our support at support@therightpc.tech to initiate the cancelation process.

- Pre-orders/Group Buys can not be cancelled and are non-refundable after the purchasing period is over.

Physical Products Return Policy:

- Physical products (excluding groupbuy/pre-order items) in the shop are eligible for refund if unopened and sent back within 7 days of receiving the item (customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us).

- Physical products purchased through group buy/pre-orders are not eligible for cancelation, returns, or refund after the group buy/pre-order period is over.

- B-stock items are not eligible for returns or refund. All sales are final.

International Shipping/Refund Policy:

- For international orders, please make sure you input your address correctly. We are not responsible for any lost/missing/undeliverable packages due to address mistakes. Please contact our support before your package is shipped if you need to change your address or fix any address mistakes.

Services Return Policy:

- Services may be eligible for refund if canceled before service is provided.

- Services may be eligible for partial refund even if a service has been started, but the amount refunded may vary depending on how far along you (the client) are in the service process.

- Services are not eligible for refund if the service is completed.

- Once you (the client) pay the invoice for your Build My PC system, the invoice may be eligible for refund (minus any additional fees depending on your payment method) as long as the system has not been shipped yet. (applies to Build My PC: Service only)

- Once a system is shipped, any invoice paid will be non-refundable. If a system arrives damaged, please contact us through email at support@therightpc.tech with your name and order number and we will evaluate the situation. (applies to Build My PC: Service only)

- Since add-on services can not be provided without the purchase of a base service, they can be refunded if purchased by themselves (minus transaction fees)
